JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
As a Senior Network Administrator at Ctel’s ITO Department, your scope of work includes:
- Working with the Project team to come up with the Network design, Budget estimation, and timeline for the Network setup.
- Maintaining computer networks including mainframes, VPNs, routers, and other physical hardware.
- Installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, firewalls, WAN accelerators, DNS, and DHCP.
- Evaluate network performance and find ways of improvement.
- Provide technical direction to co-workers on computer and network usage and offer comprehensive advice and instructions.
- Managing subcontractors involved with network installation.
- Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Business proficiency level of English (must have).
- At least 4 years of proven experience in IT positions, preferably as a Network Engineer, Network Administrator, or other similar roles.
- Good knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP protocols, and network technologies.
- Experienced with Cisco switches and routers.
- Hands-on experience with common software and hardware used for Network Engineering/Administration.
- MCSA/MCSE/CCNA certification is a big plus.
